The Homecoming Dance is closer than you may think. The dance will be held on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2024, in the FVHS gymnasium from seven to nine thirty. This year’s theme is Starry Night with a dress code of semi-formal. That includes dressy but not as formal as black-tie events.
Now is your chance to buy a ticket if you haven’t yet. All you need to do is scan the QR code and buy one now. If you aren’t sure how to do that, visit the fv_studco Instagram page for more information. The tickets are $10 and can be purchased until Sept. 25, 2024. Don’t wait too long; they are selling fast.
As the Homecoming dance gets closer, students get more excited and prepare for the night and an even bigger football game that will bring us all together.
“To prepare, I went out and bought a dress and will be getting my hair done to look my best at the dance,” said sophomore Maddox Kooista.
Staff and student council members are working hard to get everything lined up and ready on time. They are keeping students updated on all the details.
The planning of Homecoming this year was done differently. This was to get more students involved in voting on themes. Instead of doing a poll on Instagram like last year, the first vote was held during senior sunrise. Then a sheet was passed to every student with a few options to choose from.
“We got a lot more responses doing it this year than we did last year,” said Student Council Advisor Shannon O’Brien.
For those of you who are driving yourself, parking will be in the student parking lot. Everyone will enter the door on the side of the building closest to our gym. This is where you will show your tickets and guest tickets if you have one.
For any more updates and information, be sure to check out and follow FVHS on Instagram or ask a Student Council representative if you have any more questions.
