The end of the school year is almost here. Summer is right around the corner, and everyone’s excited. However, we have yet to know students’ opinions on school ending and what they plan to do over the summer.
“I think that it’s good that the school year is ending, and it should be very relieving for students when the school year is ending. For the summer, I plan on going to the beach and going to New York for travel along with celebrating my birthday along with my moms birthday and hanging out with friends too,” said sophomore Michelle Osborn.
It seems like people have their summers planned out and that they’re happy that the year is over. However, some people also believe school to have been the highlight of their day because of the opportunity to socialize and talk.
“I’m mad school is ending because I get to see my friends and my girlfriend everyday, but I can’t during the summer. We have to plan something out everyday instead of going and seeing each other everyday and talking during lunch and classes. The break from work is nice,” said sophomore Lucas Martins.
So yes, some people are kind of sad they won’t have school. Opinions are varied about the school year ending. A lot of people are excited about having a long nice break and having so much free time. Others also start working during the summer to try and save up some money, possibly for college and other things. However, most people are super happy that they don’t have to go to school.
