As the school year comes to an end, the Student Council is preparing the senior sunset. The event is scheduled for Thursday, June 04, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the baseball field.

Senior sunset is one of the final events planned for seniors before graduation. The gathering will include snacks, drinks and several activities designed to bring seniors together.

Student Council members have been organizing details and promoting the celebration throughout Instagram. Planning has included preparing activities, gathering supplies and creating advertisements to inform students about the event.

“Senior sunset gives seniors a chance to relax, have fun and create lasting memories before graduation,” said sophomore Sonal Ravva.

Several activities are planned for the evening, including three-leg race, sack race, egg race, ring toss, hula hoops, volleyball, corn hole, senior signout, photo booths and more. These activities are intended to give seniors opportunities to participate and spend some time together before graduation.

“We hope the senior sunset is remembered as a fun, golden moment to celebrate their journey and share their final memories together,” said sophomore Daksha Ravva.

Senior sunset takes place near the end of the school year, a time when seniors are completing final assignments, exams and graduation requirements. The event is expected to serve as one of the final major gatherings for the class of 2026 before graduation.

“Studco used student input when choosing activities for the event. Games, sign-outs and other activities were selected based on suggestions to help create an enjoyable experience for the senior class,” said Daksha Ravva.

From senior sunrise at the beginning of the year to senior sunset at the end, it is expected to mark an important moment for the graduating class as the seniors prepare for graduation and take the next step of their lives.
