FVHS presents Winter Spirit Weeks

FVHS Student Council is presenting two winter spirit weeks for the students and staff.

This week all staff are encouraged to participate in a staff-only spirit week. Each day staff are to dress as a different theme, without informing their students. FVHS students can then message the FVHS Studco Instagram to guess what they believe the spirit day is with a chance to win a goodie bag.

The week of Dec. 11 through Dec. 15, there will be five different winter and holiday centered spirit days that all students and staff are strongly encouraged to participate in.

Senior and Student Council president Emily Fairbairn said, “I think this is something fun to do before the holiday break happens. It’s important for students to participate to show that they like what the Student Council does and wants us to continue doing so.”

Monday, Dec. 11, will be Cozy Christmas Day. Start the week off wearing your coziest Christmas themed clothes or pajamas.

On Tuesday, Dec. 12, it will be Ugly Sweater Day. Everyone should wear their ugliest holiday sweaters.

Wednesday, Dec. 13, will be Blizzard Day. Students and staff can show up in their best blizzard appropriate attire, or all white.

Thursday, Dec. 14, will be Anything But Christmas Day. People should dress up for any holiday besides Christmas. This could include, but is not limited to, St. Patrick’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Halloween, Fourth of July, and so much more.

Rounding off the week on Friday, Dec. 15, will be Christmas Character Day. Students are encouraged to dress as their favorite Christmas movie character.

Junior Gabriella Franks said, “I am looking forward to Character Day because I want to dress up like the Grinch. He is really cool and I want to be like him and steal everyone’s backpacks.”

Participating students can tag the FVHS Roaring Bengal Newspaper in posts of their outfits with a chance to be featured on Instagram showing their best school spirit.
