Grain & Berry just opened their doors for the first time last Sunday in Holly Springs, offering a variety of healthy and nutritious foods and drinks. This will be their first North Carolina location, with others already established in Florida and Texas.
Their menu offers a range of options including fresh juices, açaí (ah-sigh-ee) bowls, parfaits, avocado toast, quesadillas and salads. People can also customize their orders to accommodate dietary restrictions or personal preferences.
Grain & Berry made plans to double their locations from 22 to 43, and so far, 33 have been completed. There are also 14 locations that are coming soon to towns across the country, surpassing their goal with 47 locations.
The store has drawn the attention of many of the locals in Holly Springs looking for a healthy meal option. One of their customers, Stephanie Lastra, said she was excited about the new location.
Lastra said, “I have wanted a new healthy food place around here so bad because I am vegetarian so I feel like it’s hard to find a place that can make a simple salad taste great. It’s nice to have a place selling genuinely fresh and healthy foods.”
There are many different options depending on your personal preferences, like their fully customizable açaí bowls. This was appreciated by another one of their customers, Herbert Akins Road Middle School student Madeline Guistwite.
“I wasn’t expecting to like it that much because I’m pretty picky with my bowls, but I really enjoyed all the different options and toppings they had for the açaí bowls. You usually only see one base with the bowls but at Grain & Berry they had four different bases to choose from, which I thought was really nice because I’m not always a fan of the standard açaí base. Their salads are also so good. I got the Romain Attraction and I thought it was really good,” Guistwite said.
Grain & Berry’s arrival has added a fresh touch to the Holly Springs area, offering a comfortable place for people to grab a quick bite or relax with friends. The store is located in Holly Springs at 101 Oakview Commons Drive and is open from 8:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M.
