What is the best amusement park for a day trip?

Amusement parks offer entertainment to people of all ages. Carowinds especially does a great job at being fun and inclusive for everyone.

Amusement parks have been the main attraction to the public’s eye for endless fun. There are many attractions and parks to visit, with Disney and Universal being the top two parks in the world.

But what if you are looking for a day trip and not a weekend trip to Disney or Universal Studios? There are also other local parks that many love to visit on a yearly basis. These parks include Carowinds, Six Flags, Cedar Point, Dollywood, and many more.

North Carolina is home to Carowinds which is located in Charlotte. I love this amusement park because it is inclusive for all ages. It is also a very affordable theme park to visit if you are just looking to spend a day. Tickets during the summer for an adult are around $80 and $40 for a child.

My favorite ride at Carowinds is the Fury 325. This ride is really fun because it’s very fast. The age recommended is 14 and up, but if some kids are brave enough to endure this ride, it’s well worth it. The speed of this roller coaster is 95 miles per hour.

If big and fast roller coasters aren’t your thing, another one of my favorite rides is the Carolina Gold Rusher. This doesn’t have as many twists and turns or upside-down thrills, but this ride does have a 43 foot drop. This one’s for kids and adults, and one I would definitely recommend.

In addition to an adventure-filled theme park, Carowinds also has a super fun water park. This is a perfect place to go on a hot summer day with fun water rides and good food. It also has a fun kids section for the younger kids and an area for older kids.

Carowinds is the best place for a day trip with many different activities to choose from. It’s affordable for you and a group of friends to go just for the day, and this place is really fun to visit during the summer or off-season.
