Prom 2026 at FVHS is expected to be one of the most anticipated events of the school year, as juniors and seniors prepare for the night of celebration, music and memories. Scheduled to take place April 11 at Hilton at North Hills, the event will bring students together for a formal evening marking the near end of the academic year.

“To me, I think prom is important because I feel it’s an experience that every highschooler should go through once in their life,” said junior Tiffany Nguyen.

This year’s theme is ‘Timeless’ to celebrate the 50th year anniversary with an old money aesthetic. Students will arrive in formal attire, with many planning to take pictures with friends before entering the venue.

Prom planning began with school staff and student organizers working to coordinate details such as decorations, music and logistics. The event is expected to include a DJ, dance floor and designated spaces for socializing and taking pictures.

In addition to dancing, students often take part in pre-prom traditions such as group photos and dinners. Many have started planning their outfits and coordinating with friends to make the night memorable.

“For this year I feel really excited because it’s my first year going to prom. I expect it to be decorated, looking at past prom decorations and themes. I also feel like this prom will be extra special because it correlates to our 50th year at FVHS,” said Nguyen.

Another anticipated part of the evening is the prom court, where students vote to recognize their peers. The announcement of the prom queen and king is expected to be the highlight of the night.

Teachers and administrators continue to organize the event to ensure it runs smoothly and safely for all attendees.

“I’m really excited for the actual event because it means I get to see and spend time with all my friends and to enjoy the atmosphere and experience of prom itself,” said Nguyen.

As the date approaches, the excitement in students continues to grow. Prom 2026 is expected to provide FVHS students with an opportunity to celebrate the school year, spend time with friends and create lasting memories.
