Lululemon is a billion-dollar business that specializes in athletic clothing. Each year Lululemon makes about $9 million. The business’s net worth as of 2023 is $118 billion according to Companies Market Cap. 

 That being said, their clothing is also very high quality and durable. On the other hand, it’s very expensive. Most clothes range from $30-200, depending on the type of clothing. 

Women’s clothing at Lulu tends to be more expensive than men’s clothing. For example, a pair of leggings costs around $118 and a certain style of shirt is about $70 dollars.

Lulu’s clothing is not reasonably priced and is not affordable for most people. Therefore many different companies have come out with “Lululemon Dupes.” 

Dupes tend to be half the cost and very close to the original quality. Amazon tends to be the leading company of Lulu dupes. The leggings only cost $40, and the shirts tend to be $20 and look very similar.

“I think LuluLemon is way overpriced and there is no reason to by a $200 sweatshirt when I could find one just like it for 30 bucks from Target or Amazon,” said freshman Abby Hills.

Even though Lululemon is great quality and very durable, spending that much money on clothes is ridiculous. There is no need to buy Lululemon when you can find something so close to the original clothing for half the price.
