Week 13 of the NFL football season has come to an end with week 14 starting very soon. Many teams are hoping to improve after last week’s games. 

The Miami Dolphins took a win over the Washington Commanders 45-15. This was the Commander’s first game after they just fired their defensive coordinator. It was obvious that their defense needed some help after Tyreek Hill dominated them. Hill caught two touchdown passes both being over 60 yards.

The Commander’s defense struggled to stop much of anything the Dolphins threw at them, allowing 6.9 yards per play and giving up a score on six of Miami’s nine drives,” according to Pro Football Focus.

 The 49ers won with a score of 42-19 against the Eagles. The 49ers had a total of 456 yards, averaging 8.0 yards a play. The Eagles averaged 4.8 yards a play with a total of 333 yards. 

The Cowboys took on the Seahawks and won with a score of 41-35.

Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott completed 29-of-41 passes for 299 yards. Four of his incompletions were caused by his receivers dropping the ball. 

The Indianapolis Colts went up against the Tennessee Titans finishing with a score of 31-28. The Colts had 300 passing yards that game, and they went into overtime. The Titans scored a touchdown right before the end of the 4th quarter tying the game. The Titans got their field goal, and then the Colts got a touchdown finalizing the score at 31-28. 

The Atlanta Falcons played the New York Jets. The Jets had more passing yards than the Falcons. 

The Jets pushed back the Falcons running back Bijan Robinson. The Jets defense wouldn’t let Robinson in. He averaged 2.9 yards per carry from 18 rushing attempts. He was tackled in the end zone for a safety. Although he did add 26 yards on three of his receptions, the game ended with a score of 13-8.

 The Detroit Lions and the New Orleans Saints finished with a score of 33-28. The Detroit Lions won. Although Saints wide receiver Chris Olave suffered a concussion in week 12, and he ended up playing well in week 13. Olave caught five passes for a total of 119 yards. 

The Houston Texans and Denver Broncos played one another, and the Texans won with a score of 22-17. 

The Los Angeles Chargers took on the New England Patriots. The Chargers shut out the Patriots with a score of 6-0. The Patriots had more rushing yards than the Chargers though, with the Patriots at 148 and the Chargers at 29 rushing yards. 

The Chargers rookie wide receiver Quentin Johnston caught five of his seven targets, he dropped a pass on the third down.

The Arizona Cardinals defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 24-10. The Cardinals running back James Conner returned to Pittsburgh for the first time since leaving the Steelers organization. He was in the end zone twice during the game. 

The Carolina Panthers played the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Panthers lost with a score of 21-18. The Panther’s second-round receiver Jonathan Mingo led the team in receiving yards. The Panthers had a total of 282 yards. 

The Los Angeles Rams scored 36 points while the Cleveland Browns scored 19.   The Rams linebacker Ernest Jones had a game-high 15 tackles. 

The Green Bay Packers played against the Kansas City Chiefs. The Packers scored 27 and the Chiefs scored 19. Wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks caught three of his four targets for a total of 43 yards and he got two first downs on Sunday night.

The Cincinnati Bengals played the Jacksonville Jaguars finishing with a close score of 34-31. The Bengals improved 6-6 and the Jaguars dropped 8-4. The Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence left the game midway through the second half with an ankle injury. Lawrence’s ankle is just sprained and he should be fine. 

NFL Week 14 games started with the Patriots vs. Steelers on Dec. 7. The rest of the games will be Sun, Dec. 10, at 1:00 p.m., 4:05 p.m., 4:25 p.m., and 8:20 p.m. There will also be two additional games on Monday, Dec 11 at 8:15 p.m.
