Taylor Swift is famously known for her chart-topping music. She always comes out with new albums or even remakes of her songs into “Taylor’s Version.” With all this fame, all the Swifties out there are always on the edge of their seats just waiting for her to release something. 

This past year, Swift came out with her “ Midnights” album, the most- played pop album of 2022-23. After “Midnights,” she came out with a repeat of “Speak Now” and “1989″ in Taylor’s Version. Ever since these chart-topping releases, people have been hinting at new ideas on what her next album might just be. 

After Swift released her long-awaited Taylor’s Version of “1989” many swifties assumed she was going to release “Reputation” from the pattern of which studio album came next. 

Her first pop-recorded studio album was released in 2017 and was a switch-up from her old persona with country music. In her worldwide Eras Tour, at closing night, fans were just waiting for a breaking news announcement.

Then came the 2024 Golden Globe Academy Awards, and Swifites immediately picked up on some hints of her dropping “Reputation.” 

“Swift has also seemingly been transitioning her wardrobe to incorporate more “Rep era” tones like black, silver and gold, a signature move she often turns to when wanting to hint at upcoming projects,”  according to US Weekly.

Soon after this, the 2024 Grammy Awards aired in which Swift was seen wearing a very “Reputation” themed outfit like her Golden Globe encounter. Swift, being her successful self, ended up winning not one but four Grammys including best vocal pop album of the year.

In the long-awaited acceptance speech, fans of her work did not expect what was about to come next for them. Swift was thanking everyone for the love and support she’s been getting this past year and then claimed she’s been keeping a secret for about two years from her fans. 

“As soon as the news came out my jaw dropped,” said Lila Turner, a freshman who is anxiously waiting for the album. She has been a fan of Swift for several years and is excited about her new “The Tortured Poems Department” album. 

In April the huge pop star will be releasing her world-renowned “The Tortured Poets Department” album. This will be her tenth studio recorded album. Fans are head over heels for this album. Theories have been stated that it is about her Ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn. Swifties will be waiting in excitement.
