Sombr is an artist who became popular on TikTok due to his music. Recently, there has been some drama due to things he has been doing during his concerts. Most of his fanbase are underage and he knows this, but he still chooses to make very graphic sexual jokes towards the crowd and use suggestive hand gestures as well. He knows that his audience is mostly underage because while making sexual jokes, he also makes ‘brainrot’ jokes to fit in with the crowd.

Sombr is 20 years old. Some may use this as an excuse as to why he would make those jokes, but as an up-and-coming celebrity, they need to have the responsibility of acknowledging the fact that it’s not appropriate to make those kinds of jokes to people who are underage. Not only did he make vulgar jokes, but he told his audience of mostly 13-15 year olds to ‘bark for him’ which in itself is very weird.

In response to these allegations, all he said was basically to suck it up. Not only did he not take accountability, he didn’t even acknowledge the part where he made vulgar comments to a concert full of minors. He skipped over the fact that making jokes like that makes him a creep. He knew what he did was wrong and chose to ignore the most important part of the story.

Taking accountability is the first step a well-known person should take if they want to stay relevant. The sheer disrespect and insensitivity that Sombr shows reflects on who he is as a person and how he will be in the future because he doesn’t notice what he did/is doing is wrong. People don’t want him to be relevant anymore because of the way he acted and it seems to be working because he has stopped showing up on people’s ‘for you’ pages, and if he does show up it’s about the situation at hand.
