This year some of the costumes that are anticipated to be the most popular for Halloween are Beetlejuice, Deadpool, Wolverine, Minions, and Barbie. These are anticipated to be most popular this year due to movies that were released this year like “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice,” “Despicable Me 4” and “Deadpool & Wolverine.”
However, when it comes to kids, some popular costumes are anticipated to be Spider-Man, princesses, Mario, Luigi, Sonic, superheroes, fairies, and more. These are some classic costumes kids usually wear every year. About 2.6 million kids usually dress up as Spider-Man, two million as their favorite princess, and 1.5 million as their favorite superhero.

When it comes to the Minions costume, it is an anticipated costume due to the movie “Despicable Me 4,” which came out this year and is the third highest-grossing movie of the year.
Some locations that costumes are usually bought at are The Tilted Stage Costume Shoppe, Spirit Halloween and Amazon. In 2023, 61 percent of people bought their costumes on Amazon. Meanwhile, Spirit Halloween is one of the largest Halloween retailers in North America.
