Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA) is a national non-profit career organization that helps expand students’ business and career ethics. Throughout the year, there are five chapter campaigns that help develop leadership skills and gain recognition.

The FVHS DECA team is currently competing in the ethical leadership challenge. The ethics challenge has to demonstrate integrity, honesty, and ethics in general within the school.

“There’s a lot of effort put into our videos and we do a lot of research that shows what ethics and integrity is,” said DECA president Jessica Doble.

The DECA members have to start a campaign about ethics and try to promote their campaign as much as possible.

“Our strategies are to get the max amount of campaigns we can do, so we just submitted everything we can do,” said Doble.

The campaign consists of videos that are now available for social media voting, including three one-minute videos, three business interview videos, daily announcements, and more.

“I think we will do very well in the chapter campaigns,” stated DECA advisor Rhonda Lusher.

You can watch DECA’s PSA videos on their social media and vote here. You are able to submit a vote once a day until December 1.
