Wondering what your next concert could be?
The year might be winding down, but the music scene in North Carolina is just heating up, with major tours scheduled to hit our largest venues. Whether it’s pop, rap, alternative rock or Christian music, there are surely tickets waiting for you. Check out the lineup for artists coming to North Carolina to wrap up 2025.
Pop music fans have a busy October ahead of them, anchored by two of the biggest acts in the world. According to Ticketmaster, Pop artists Billie Eilish, Tate Mcrae, Magdalena Bay, Alex Warren, the Jonas Brothers, and Twenty One Pilots all have concerts in the upcoming month of October.
Most of these concerts will be in the state’s capital, Raleigh, with global phenomenon Billie Eilish scheduled for two nights (Oct. 16-17) as part of Hit Me Hard and Soft: The Tour. She also will play two more shows at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte on Oct. 19 and 20.
Pop group Magdalena Bay will be performing at The Ritz on Oct. 21, Alex Warren at the Red Hat Amphitheater on Oct. 1, the Jonas Brothers on Oct. 29, and Tate Mcrae on Oct. 28.
While Billie EIlish, the Jonas Brothers and Tate Mcrae will all be performing in the same Raleigh venue (the Lenovo Center, formerly known as the PNC Arena) on separate dates, musical duo Twenty One Pilots are a bit away, with their concert being held in Charlotte at the PNC Music Pavilion on Oct. 8.
Hip-Hop/Rap fans also have a massive lineup of artists this year, with many tickets selling fast. Performances start off with Lil Wayne, already having kicked off on Sept. 25, followed by BunnaB in both Raleigh (Sept. 26) and Charlotte (Sept. 28).
October starts strong for Hip-Hop with Lil Tecca in both Raleigh (Oct. 1) and Charlotte (Oct. 2), Bladee in Raleigh (Oct. 4), and the $uicideboy$ Grey Day Tour hitting Raleigh Oct. 5, with their show in Charlotte a mere two days after. The shows continue with GloRilla in Greensboro on Oct. 11, 2hollis in Raleigh Oct. 15 and two stops for NBA Youngboy in Raleigh (Oct. 24) and Charlotte (Oct. 26).
Later in the year, Playboi Carti will perform in both Raleigh (Nov. 13) and Charlotte (Nov. 14), with OsamaSon in Charlotte (Nov. 16), and J.I.D wrapping everything up in Raleigh on Dec. 1.
Alternative artists also have upcoming shows: Pierce the Veil (Oct. 25), Big Thief (Oct. 29) and Alex G (Oct. 6). There are also a few latin and religious groups touring, so there is room for anyone, despite genre differences.
While many of these high-demand shows may have sold out their initial runs, the opportunity to attend is not lost. It’s important to recognize that Ticketmaster is not the only source for buying tickets. Tickets can be resold from second-hand markets like SeatGeek, StubHub and more. But be aware that these tickets are sold by resellers, so tickets may be listed for more than three times the original price.
Before you attempt to search for tickets to any of these shows, remember to check the venue policies as sometimes certain drinks and bags aren’t permitted. Some venues also may have age-restrictions, so be sure to read as much information as possible in preparation for your show.
Don’t be afraid to miss out, though. Other artists touring North America have already begun to announce shows in North Carolina for 2026, with Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B and Swedish pop artist Zara Larsson both performing in April 2026.
