FVHS has many clubs to offer for all kinds of students, ranging from dance to debate club. The club fair was held by all of the students and staff of different clubs on Sept. 9. The event consisted of many of the clubs at FVHS sharing information and giving candy and stickers to others.

The club fair is a way to branch out, meet new people and find activities that interest you. Our school offers over 40 clubs to all grades and people.

One of the clubs there was the National Honors Society of Dance Arts. It was represented by many of their officers and various dance members.

Senior Reaghan Retseck said, “We’re looking for anyone who’s willing to try something new. Dance is always something for you to try. It’s not like you have to be good to do this.”

They told others about their dance team doing various events and their honors society while giving out candy to people interested.

Another club represented at the club fair was the art club. Their station had a setup showing their art and gave away stickers to others willing to do a drawing.

“I think that you get to express yourself more often, show off your oc’s (original characters), stories and your favorite paintings,” said freshman Zoe Harrison.

The science club was another of the clubs at the club fair. They said science club was a great place for anyone interested in science or wanting to learn about science.

“We just do a ton of science-y stuff and projects,” said junior Salem de Vente. They went on to say science club is a great place to have fun and meet new people.

As well as being a way to meet other people, the clubs are looking forward to having new members. The experience and memories you make from clubs could last a lifetime and teach you new things.
