From football games to senior sunset, FVHS is known for its spirited events that bring students, teachers and families together. With so many events, some are bound to stand out more than others.
For some students, the Homecoming football game is their favorite event.
“I’ve been going to the Homecoming games since freshman year. I like seeing all the happy families when their child gets their homecoming court sash, and I like seeing all my friends,” said senior Taha Bazzi.
Of course, for the upperclassmen, nothing beats Prom, a day to show off elegant dresses, dance, and make lasting memories with friends.
“I had been waiting to go to prom since freshman year, and it was everything I had been hoping for,” said senior Carson Allen.
Another beloved event is Fright Night, a Halloween celebration filled with costumes, decorated scenery, friends and family.
“I loved volunteering at this event. It was so fun to set up, but seeing all the kids’ faces is what really made this event my favorite,” said senior Marbella Romero-Ramirez.
And finally, the most anticipated of all is graduation. It’s the moment students work toward for four years. It’s the chance to walk across the stage, receive their diploma, and celebrate all they’ve accomplished. The ceremony is filled with pride, emotion, and a sense of closure.
“My graduation last year made all the stress I went through worth it. It was by far the best day of all four years of high school,” said FVHS graduate Rime Nabih.
From cheering under the stadium lights during football games to walking across the graduation stage, FVHS events create lasting memories that define the high school experience. These moments bring students together, celebrate their journeys, and leave behind stories they’ll carry with them long after they leave the halls of FVHS.
