The FVHS Men’s tennis team has been continuously showing their determination with a 4-0 record.
Junior Monish Allada said, “We work really well together all the time. We are all close friends on and off the court.”
Being friends with your teammates can positively affect the way that you play, not only from trusting each other, but also supporting and building each other up. This team has perfected their collaboration and team chemistry and should have a very successful season ahead of them.
“Tennis means a lot to me. It’s honestly just hard work paying off. If you put your mind to something, you can achieve it,” said Allada.
The tennis team has a positive mindset with the things that they do. Their mentality strengthens their performance in every game, helping them play with confidence and consistency. These factors contribute to their many strengths.
Junior David Kuron said, “We are just trying to get better and work better. Our coach always gives us advice because we can always get better in some aspects.”
Having this mindset as an athlete is a blessing considering you are showing that you have growth and commitment. Athletes with this mindset often push themselves and strive to be the best version of themselves.
The traits that these athletes have are amazing attributes to collaborating well together. Their trust in one another creates a good team dynamic which helps them support each other and continue to overcome whatever challenges they face.
