Finding a good place to go for lunch at FVHS is easy with downtown being so nearby, but everyone also has their favorites. Some stick to fast food, while others like something a little different. Here are some of the top picks from students on where they like to eat for lunch.
For Junior Ella Taylor, Tropical Smoothie Café is the way to go.
“I usually stop by and get a Peanut Butter Cup smoothie with protein and sometimes a chicken pesto flatbread,” Said Taylor. It’s perfect for someone trying to get a quick and easy meal that doesn’t break the bank.
Meanwhile, Chick-fil-A is a clear favorite among students.
“I always go for the chicken minis. It’s my top choice,” said sophomore Sarah Fogherty. “If Chick-fil-A is closed, I have no idea what I’d do.” For her, nothing can beat the classic taste of Chick-fil-A.
Sophomore Jack Fogarthy said, “I go to Chick-fil-A almost every day and usually spend around ten bucks.”
With speedy service and great-tasting food, Chick-fil-A is the clear winner among students. Whether it’s a smoothie, a sandwich, or some classic chicken minis, students definitely know where to find their favorites.
Connor Doherty shares his go-to approach.
“I tend to get a shake and something to eat depending on how I feel. Yesterday, I got hush puppies, but today I’m thinking about getting a burger,” Doherty added with a laugh. “I don’t spend too much on food. I try to go every other day because I’m broke.”
No matter the budget or cravings, FVHS students have plenty of great lunch spots to choose from, making every meal a chance to enjoy something different.
