Red Bull is a drink that many love and many hate. In a recent poll conducted among students at FVHS there was a clear winner for a favorite flavor, The classic original Red Bull took the top spot with 48% of the votes, proving that sometimes you just can’t beat the original.

While Red Bull continues to gain popularity and expand its lineup with new and seasonal flavors, it seems the majority of students still prefer the classic taste that started it all.

That doesn’t mean the other flavors don’t have their fans. Coconut, with 23% percent of the vote, was a favorite for those who like a tropical vibe and something a little different than the others, while Tropical at 15% and Winterberry at 15% had people divided between fruity and refreshing. But Red Bull’s lineup keeps growing, with new flavors every year since 2016.

This year is no different with the highly anticipated Woodruff and Pink Grapefruit for the new spring edition. 

“My favorite flavor is the original. I’ve been drinking it since I was a kid,” said sophomore Sarah Fogherty.

Many students remain loyal to the original flavor, appreciating its familiar taste and energy boost that they know and love.

  “The original for sure, all the other flavors are too sugary for me. If I want something sugary, I’ll get a Monster,” adds senior Kudzai Bere. 

One thing is clear: this debate is never ending because there is something for everyone.
