The FVHS dance team has kicked off the new school year with a bang, introducing their new stunning uniforms and halftime performances leaving the audiences waiting for more.
“They are really getting the crowds hyped up with their sideline dances,” said junior Danielle Johnson.
The dance team revealed their sparkly new uniforms at the last home game on the sidelines.
The team’s new look has been met with enthusiastic approval from students and parents.
“I love the new uniforms,” said Kayla Schafer, a member of the dance team. “I think they represent the dance team better.”
Considering that this is the second year our school has a dance team, they have done a phenomenal job at building their reputation and nailing their performances.
But the excitement did not stop with their new outfits. The dance team has started to incorporate jaw dropping halftime performances to exciting and upbeat songs.
Team building has also improved amongst the dance team. Last year, they were working out the kinks and figuring it out, giving them a strong base for this year’s team.
“This year we act more as a team than we did last year,” said senior Jordan Enwereuzor.
The dedication and passion of the dance team not only elevates their performances but wows the crowds. Their upcoming performances are likely to be as impressive as their last.
For those who haven’t seen them, make sure to come support the FVHS dance team at the next home football game on Sept. 20 against Clayton.
