We’ve all heard of the famous Stanley cups and new Owala cups thanks to Tiktok. In the year 2020, during Covid, Stanley started getting pretty well known for their cup styles and unique designs. Soon after the Stanley hype, there was a new type of water bottle that was released, and it was called Owala.
Many people have very different opinions on both of these bottles. But is there really a better one? The short answer is yes, and it’s Owala. Owala and Stanley are both very different in their own ways, but Owala is more preferred today. Although, Stanley is still very popular.
If you are looking for a designer type of cup, definitely go for Stanley. I like this cup because they have fun colors and sizes of cups you can choose from. They also have limited time Stanley cups for different holidays and events that are exciting to collect.
All this being said, Stanleys sometimes aren’t the most affordable and cost around $45 for a 35 ounce quencher. On top of that, you have to pay around $20 for reusable straws because Stanley straws can get dirty very easily. And this year, there were allegations of lead in the new Stanley cups.
On the other hand, Owala cups are more affordable and cost about $35 for a 35 ounce water bottle. These bottles are easy to clean and also come in very fun, vibrant colors. Owala is also a more preferred water bottle nowadays because it’s easier to maintain and take out with you.

This all being said, I personally like Owala cups better then Stanley. These cups are less expensive than Stanleys. They come in more unique and fun styles and are more maintainable.
