Head Coach Jeb Hall has been coaching for 20 years. In 2013, Hall was promoted to head varsity coach.
“I am definitely tough on them and hold them accountable when needed,” said Hall.
In the past games, they have gotten several injuries.
“We ended the game with a win and no injuries, so that’s good for me,” said Hall.
The crowd at the Homecoming game was more significant and the excitement level was higher this game.
“We had a lot more effort and energy, and the student section was better. We had a bigger crowd because of Homecoming. We always seem to play better on Homecoming,” said Hall.
The Bengals went against the Garner Trojans in the Greater Neuse River 4A match, on Friday, Oct. 13, and they won 13-0, making their record this season 3-5. They will have two more games, one being away against South Garner and the other being a home game against Willow Springs High School. The Willow Springs game will be the last game of the season.
